FAQS

Do you provide any warranty?

No, we do not offer warranties for vehicles. Our service focus on conducting comprehensive inspections and reporting our findings. As vehicles are mechanical and electrical objects, they can encounter issues without warning at any time.

For instance, a component that appears to be functioning fine during the inspection might fail the next day. While some companies might offer limited warranties to attract customers, predicting the future performance of a vehicle is simply impossible.

However, we pride ourselves on performing the most extensive inspections, ensuring you buy a car you are confident in. Each vehicle is inspected by the appropriate specialist to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Our inspection reports include detailed information, scam alerts, and vehicle reliability advice with up to 200+ pictures taken during the inspection to show you every identified fault. We provide free and tailored help materials to assist clients in choosing a reliable vehicle.

Should I buy the vehicle based solely on the report and pictures?

No, relying solely on the report and pictures is not recommended. Our reports and pictures provide advisory value and focus on the technical faults of the vehicle at the time of inspection. However, a vehicle's condition can change unpredictably, and components can fail without warning.

For example, a vehicle may appear to have no issues during the inspection, but a critical component could fail the next day. It is essential to see the vehicle in person, especially if you plan to make a purchase. Visiting the vehicle allows you to assess its cosmetic condition and any other details not captured in the report and pictures.

For interstate buyers considering a remote purchase, there are inherent risks, especially if the vehicle is expensive or you are concerned about small cosmetic imperfections.

Do you jack up all vehicles during inspection?

No, not all vehicles are jacked up during inspection. Approximately 95 percent of cars undergo a underbody inspection with jacking, but certain vehicles do not require it. For example, vehicles with raised suspension or sufficient ground clearance may not need to be lifted.

Additionally, low riders and vehicles with side kits are not jacked up to prevent any potential damages. Heavy vehicles are generally high enough to inspect without lifting.

We try to avoid excessive jacking whenever possible, as it can hinder the assessment of the suspension under force. When the vehicle is on the ground, certain suspension imperfections become more apparent.

For vehicles that cannot be jacked up due to specific reasons, we may recommend arranging a garage with a hoist for further inspection.

When can I expect my written report?

You can expect to receive the written report within 24 hours of the inspection. For urgent situations, we offer the option to request an urgent report, which may be included if time permits.

However, please note that urgent reports are subject to availability, and there might not always be spots available for this service.

If the report is positive, does it mean the vehicle will serve me well in the future?

No, a positive report does not guarantee the future performance of the vehicle. Our inspection report only reflects the vehicle's condition at the time of inspection, and unforeseen issues can arise at any time.

Vehicles are complex machines with thousands of components, and their performance can change without notice. A vehicle that appears healthy during the inspection may encounter problems later on.

While choosing a more reliable vehicle can increase your chances of avoiding costly issues, it does not eliminate the possibility of unexpected breakdowns or failures.

Is a roadside inspection as in depth as inspecting a vehicle at a workshop?

No, a roadside inspection is different from inspecting a vehicle at a workshop. A roadside inspection does not involve tools, authority to work on the vehicle, or the ability to lift the vehicle on a hoist for a thorough underbody inspection.

While our roadside inspections are comprehensive, they may not capture every detail that a workshop inspection with professional tools and equipment would.

If you require a more accurate and detailed report, arranging an inspection at a service center with a fixed workshop is recommended. However, our specialised inspections and comprehensive checklists ensure that our reports are more comprehensive than typical random mechanic inspections.

Do you jumpstart vehicles with a dead battery?

No, we do not jumpstart vehicles with dead batteries. Our policy is to avoid touching the seller's vehicle in any way to prevent potential issues or damages.

However, if the seller can jumpstart the vehicle themselves, we can observe the process. It is best to ensure that the vehicle is in working order before scheduling the inspection.
